Some materials used at Messiah Lutheran Church (Eau Claire, WI) for a "personal evangelism packet." The idea was to give members a kit that they could share with friends and acquaintances, introducing them to true Christianity. A link to the folder with these materials is HERE. Included:

A printable Gospel of Mark in booklet format. This is in the "Word English" translation, which is copyright-free
A "God so Loved the World" tri-fold explanation of John 3:16
A half-sheet Messiah Eau Claire introduction, which can be modified for your own church
"Bible Centered Devotions..." by P.R. Koch, in printable booklet format. It's an excellent series of short essays which explain the simple Gospel.
A flyer to modify and then post in your narthex to promote the kits for your members

It is hoped that this will provide a low-stress opportunity for lay members to reach out. "Can I share this with you?" might be simple way to introduce someone to the biblical Christ.
